1. What is included in my stay at Hotel Xcaret Mexico/Arte Hotel?

Booking at Hotel Xcaret Mexico all-inclusive resort includes unlimited shuttle transportation to and from the airport, to and from the Xcaret themed parks, the transportation to and from the wedding venue, admission to Xcaret Parks, food and drinks at the hotel, all day access to hotel amenities.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico is located in Playa Del Carmen which is a town in the Riviera Maya located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.

3. What is the best way to RSVP?

Please RSVP using the RSVP tab on this website. It will prompt you to enter your name as written on your invitation. Follow the prompts to RSVP for all wedding events and provide details of dietary restrictions/allergies.





4. I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Please advise us of any dietary restrictions/allergies in the RSVP section. A question box will appear allowing for details of any restrictions. Please consider detailing any restrictions for members of your party and their name(s).





5. When is the RSVP deadline?

RSVP deadline is Tuesday, November 1st, 2022.

6. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Guests will meet at the Xcaret Hotel Mexico lobby at 5:30pm to board transportation to the wedding venue. Please plan to arrive to the ceremony venue around 5:45pm. Feel free to take photos, mingle and find your seats as the ceremony will start shortly after.



7. What is the dress code for the wedding day?

FORMAL:

We recommend breathable fabrics. Floor length or cocktail length dresses are perfect. The ceremony will be on sand so feel free to wear comfortable/breathable shoes/dress sandals. To my fashionistas, you may bring a formal pair of heels for the reception as it is not on the sand.

A suit or a button-down shirt, with jacket and slacks (tie is optional). A summer suit is a perfect choice. Dress shoes or a nice pair of shoes that complement the slacks are highly suggested.

8. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the sand. The reception will be held at an indoor location.

9. What will the weather be like? Is there an alternate location should there be rain?

March is the first month of spring in Playa del Carmen. Temperatures range from an average high of 81° F and an average low of 73° F.



In case of rain, the wedding ceremony will be at La Hacienda at Xcaret Park. The reception venue will remain the same.

10. What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Wedding Ceremony: 5:45pm

Cocktail Hour: 7:00pm

Reception & Dinner: 8:00pm-1:00am







11. How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Guests will meet at the Xcaret Hotel Mexico lobby at 5:30pm to board transportation to the wedding venue. Please allow enough time to travel to wedding location in the park. Please plan to arrive to the ceremony venue around 5:45pm. The wedding day events will take place at Xcaret Park which is an 15-minute shuttle bus ride from Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Wedding buses will be available for wedding guests to and from the wedding venue and Hotel Xcaret Mexico.

When guests arrive to Xcaret Park guides will escort our guests to the ceremony location.





12. Can I bring my kids? Will there be anything for children on the wedding day?

Children are welcome to our wedding weekend celebration and all events. Parents may choose to make it an adult only getaway trip or bring their children to any or all events. During the wedding reception a small team will be available to entertain the children attending the wedding.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico has a Kids Club” Xquillos” with several activities, specially designed to let the imagination of the little ones’ fly.

13. Will food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert during the reception.





14. Will there be an open bar?

Open bar will be provided during cocktail hour and reception.





15. Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

We have reserved a room block for our guests at Hotel Xcaret Mexico at a discounted rate on a first come first serve basis. Please note we encourage our guests to book at Hotel Xcaret Mexico in order to have access to all wedding events, hotel amenities, all-inclusive food, drinks, and unlimited access to the Xcaret Parks. Please visit the TRAVEL tab on this website for further details regarding room block, travel, hotel accommodations, and Xcaret Parks. Check in is at 3:00pm and check out is 12:00pm.





16. From what time is there access to the parks on the day of check-in and day of and check-out?

Access to the parks is available from the moment you register at the hotel and are given your bracelet. Please remember you need to wear this bracelet to obtain automatic access to Xcaret parks and facilities.





17. Do you have a wedding registry?

We do not have a registry. Your presence is a present enough. We appreciate having our loved ones travel far to share our special wedding celebration.





18. Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

There will be a Welcome Cocktail on Friday March 17th welcoming all guests for the wedding weekend. The wedding day is Saturday, March 18th. The rest of the weekend is yours to enjoy the resort and parks! Stay tuned for any updates regarding other events as the dates approach.





19. What's your wedding hashtag?

20. When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

The reception ends at 1:00 am. For all of our guests who still want to party the night away the Cantina Los Faroles restaurant located at the main building in Hotel Xcaret Mexico is open until 4:00am.





21. What health and safety measures will be taken?

22. How can I take pictures throughout the hotel and parks?

The wristbands given at checkin allow guests access into their hotel room and entry into the theme parks. The wristbands also give guests access to innovative photo stations conveniently located throughout the resort and the various theme parks, including Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xenses, Xplor, and Xplor Fuego. 

The photo stations are usually distinguished by colorful exteriors surrounding the photo pass camera and when guests simply scan their bracelet at these stations, a photograph is taken -- which can later be viewed at that particular theme park or at the resort. There is no limit to how many photos you take and you can then purchase access to download these images. A slideshow of the photos will play on the hotel channel in your assigned room.
